Have you seen those really cute gnarled, scary-looking tabletop trees? You know, the ones you add little Halloween ornaments to? I almost bought one of those, and then remembered that I have 24 trees in my yard. :)
So we grabbed some branches on a nature walk, stamped some spooky images, and adhered them to scraps from my Halloween Countdown Calendar. I added some candy corn for color, and because hey...you know I love candy corn.
Why is it that there's something I just love about dead branches in a vase in my home?
I used a jack-o-lantern face stamp for this one, and punched out the oval to make my own ghost. Can you tell this took 5 minutes?
My vase is $1 Store of course. Love it...I think we will do these every year from now on!
Happy Haunting!
What an excellent idea. My kids at the youth centre will love this. Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteAn interesting discussion is worth comment. I think that you should write more on this topic, it might not be a taboo subject but generally people are not enough to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers

ReplyDeleteWhat a great post! I can completely connect to it because I just returned from a fantastic trip to Manali with my wife. You are 100% correct about what you said. In addition to all of that, I'd like to point out that you can choose to see Manali's undiscovered attractions, which are not usually covered by tour packages. Ask them to include these in your Manali Tour Packages. Sissu, Koksar, Old Manali, Gulaba, among other amazing locations, are just a few of the surroundings. If you want to enjoy a tranquil trip, don't forget to request the off-the-beaten-path spots that are less crowded with tourist crowds the next time you plan a trip to Manali.
